Agents
Reilly can be given access to outside tools and data through
MCP, the Model Context Protocol. A connection is a server that offers Reilly a set
of tools it can call while answering — a data source to query, a system to read
from, a place to file something.

Cloud storage
Where the data already is. Connect one, search the files you
already have access to, and send one to the analysis or
research page instead of downloading it and attaching it
again. You sign in yourself, so each service returns only what you could already
open, and every one of these is read-only. A spreadsheet arrives as its cell values
rather than a picture of them, and a document as PDF.
Credentials are not entered here. Any token or key a connection needs
is held by the server and read from its environment, so a secret never sits in your
browser where a page script could reach it.
The MCP connections you add above are stored in this browser and sent nowhere. The
cloud connections are not: you sign in to the service itself, and the server holds that
session rather than this page — so sign out with Disconnect, which ends it
properly. Searches run as you, which is what keeps results limited to the documents you
could already open. Signing out of SharePoint or OneDrive signs out of both, because
they are one Microsoft session.
